Requirements
Experience
- Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant. Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work shifts

- night duty and weekend cover for nursing. Willingness to work overtime when needed. Willingness to rotate to other wards and between departments in the facility when needed. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good interpersonal

- and organisational skills. Computer literacy (MS Word
- Excel & Outlook). Knowledge of the Mental Health Care Act
- Child Care Act
- Nursing Act and other relevant legislation. Knowledge and experience of Community Mental Health at Specialised Hospital level.
Duties
(key result areas/outputs): Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care).
To provide elementary clinical nursing care.
Effective utilization of physical and financial resources.
Maintain professional growth/ ethical standards and self-development.
