An in-depth knowledge of the HIS Clinicom Tracking system, proven knowledge of medical records processes and procedures.
An ability to work independently with minimum supervision and effectively within a team.
An ability to work under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and care for long periods.
Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
Computer literacy High ethical standards as incumbent will have access to confidential files.
High degree of accuracy and concentration for long periods.
Duties
(key result areas/outputs): Render an effective and efficient after hour medical records service and folder management.
Complete relevant Clinicom Case Note Tracking system transactions and enquiries.
Provide folder management support to ECM GSH health records digitalization.
Create and maintain an effective filing system.
Accurately and timeously file and retrieve all requested patient folders or case notes.
Maintenance of filing system banks and patient folder covers.
