Overview
Join us to support the Chairperson of the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders by coordinating activities, managing partnerships, and overseeing administrative functions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a National Diploma or NQF Level 6 qualification as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) in Administration e.g Public Administration or Business Administration coupled with 3 years’ junior management experience in Administration and a valid code B driver’s licence.

Essential Knowledge, Skills And Competencies Required: The successful candidate must have:- Sound knowledge of interpretation of relevant legislation; knowledge of functionality of Provincial/Local Houses; knowledge of the traditional sphere of governance; knowledge of departmental polices and guidelines; knowledge of public service legislation; planning and organisation skills; problem solving and decision making skills; good project planning skills; good financial management skills; good minute taking skills; Good communication skills (verbal and written) and excellent computer knowledge. (Microsoft Office Package).


Duties

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be required to provide operational support to the office of the Chairperson/Deputy Chairperson of the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders with the following responsibilities:- Coordinate and integrate the activities for the Chairperson/Deputy Chairperson of the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders; Facilitate strategic partnerships between the Chairperson/Deputy Chairperson, Department and relevant stakeholders; Manage outstanding matters between the Chairperson/Deputy Chairperson and all key stakeholders; Manage administrative support for the Chairperson/Deputy Chairperson; Provide input in the development of policies, strategies, procedures and processes; Manage the resources of the unit.
