Duties
Coordinate and control the implementation of new work, repairs and renovation and maintenance.
Ensure accuracy of tender documents, specifications and bills of quantities.
Provide technical input in drawing up specifications.
Ensure to assign tasks and project for further resolution.
Manage day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure effective delivery of services.
Develop, implement and maintain an electronic record system for work being done and work that was finalised.
Ensure maintenance of records of performed task.
Ensure that tools and suppliers organized and clean.
Manage the activities of contractors and consultants.
Brief contractors and consultants on projects and provide advice in respect of compliance to legislation.
Put systems and procedures in place to ensure contractors and consultants adhere to legislation, regulations and procedures.
Check and process variation orders and request for the extension of deadlines.
Facilitate and resolve problems emanating from projects.
Ensure effective contract administration through resolution of disputes.
Supervise the performance and conduct of subordinates.
