Experience
Grade 1: None after registration as Medical Practitioner with HPCSA in respect of SA qualified employees. 1-year relevant experience after registration as Medical Practitioner with a recognized foreign Health Professional Council in respect of foreign qualified employees, of who is not required to perform Community Service as required in South Africa.
Inherent requirements of the job: Valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB and willingness to travel throughout the district.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communicate skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work in integrated multi-disciplinary teams across platforms.
Computer literacy in MS Office mandatory and Outlook.
Duties
Quality clinical, non-clinical and medico-legal patient care as required by the various programmes of the Department of Health.
Supervise-, Support -, transfer of knowledge to-, training- and mentoring of the clinical staff and auxiliary staff.
Provide an efficient administration service regarding all clinical and non-clinical matters and medico-legal work.
Provide guidance and leadership towards the realisation of strategic goals and objectives of the division.
Ensure a cost-efficient service at clinical level with regards to laboratory services, blood, medicine, consumables and equipment.
