Duties
The development and implementation of physical security policies and procedures within the department.
The development of a physical security strategy at Head Office and for all Regional Offices.
The management of outsourced security and all security contracts of the department.
The interaction with security-related and relevant authorities i.e. SAPS.
The development and implementation of security-related training and awareness programmes.
The management of the sub-Directorate.
The standardisation of physical security measures within the department.
