Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC.

Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work shifts, day and night duty, weekends, and public holidays to meet the operational requirements.

Must be prepared to assist in all departments according to operational requirements.

Competencies (knowledge/skills): Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of nursing processes & procedures as outlined in nursing, health related & public service legislation, regulation & policies.

Function within the team and facilitate on the level of the post.

Duties

Provide basic clinical nursing care.

Effective utilization of physical and financial resources.

Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self- development.
