Duties
Develop, implement and maintain property acquisition policies, procedures and strategies: -Participate in the development of acquisition policies procedures and frameworks and ensure maintenance and compliance thereof.
Communicate all acquisition policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.
Obtain benchmarks on current best practices in relation to property acquisition.
Facilitate the property acquisition process in line with the approved acquisition framework-: Conduct client needs assessment and establish availability of funds for client departments.
Make findings regarding offices and procured accommodation in line with client requirements.
Inspect and select suitable accommodation according to the requirements of client departments.
Provide administration and monitoring of procured accommodation: -Confirm if the client still needs the premises prior lease expiration.
Conduct new procurement processes in cases where a client still needs accommodation.
Manage the Sub-directorate: Ensure maintenance of discipline.
Manage performance and development.
Establish, implement and maintain efficient and effective communication arrangements.
Develop and manage the operational plan of the sub-directorate and report on progress as required.
