Experience
Grade 1: None.
Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC.
Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC.
Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work shifts, night duty, including weekends, public holidays as well as overtime.
Willingness to rotate to other wards in the facility and to work at the clinics in the Sub-district when needed.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills.
Self- discipline and motivation.
Duties
(key result areas/outputs): Development and implementation of basic patient care plans.
Provide basic clinical nursing care.
Effective utilization of resources.
Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self- development.
Participate in infection prevention and control.
